Gabrielle Union and her ‘heat-treat’ Dwyane Wade kicked off their freedom from Wade ex Siohvaughn with a stop in the swanky Hamptons on New York’s Long Island….
The elegant twosome hit up all the spots in the Hamptons and attended the Mercedes-Benz event, the Hamptons magazine party and D-Wade’s Polo-Ralph Lauren Classic…(Yeah…that’s DJ Solange Knowles on the 1&2s!).
Wade was looking rather regal next to music royalty Jon Bon Jovi…Gabby put on her best innocent-lil’-shy girl look for the camera…The couple will be hanging in the Swagg Lounge at today’s closing event of the Bridgehampton Polo Challenge…Gabby, you sure know how to snag ‘em!! LOL!!
The charismatic Dwyane Wade has donned disguise and gone incognito as salesman “Gordon” at a local Dick’s sporting goods store in this new Gatorade “G-Series” commercial…

Dwyane Wade’s new boo Gabrielle Union has been cleared of all charges filed against her by Siohvaughn Wade, D-Wade’s ex-wife, accusing the actress of getting too flirtatious with Wade in front of the NBA star’s kids.
Kimmel popped off a few good ones in his interview with Dwyane Wade, especially when he asked D-Wade did he laugh when the Knicks brass mentioned him winning a championship with New York!
But the most telling response Wade gave was when he mentioned had LeBron remained in Cleveland and Bosh followed him there, he would not have gone to Ohio.
After all…who wants to go to Cleveland when you’ve lived in Miami? That and the fact that Wade ain’t sacrificing his superstar shine by playing in another’s city!!
Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade seems to be causing a controversial stir with his comments lately. D-Wade issued an apology today for comments that were clearly taken out of context in this video below…
Wade’s apology comes on the heels of comments he apparently made last week defending new teammate LeBron James’s playoff performance, saying that James’s Cavs teammates did not step up in the playoffs.
Upon hearing that, Cavs guard Mo Williams apparently tweeted Wade to “watch his mouth.” Those are fighting words to Mo! LOL
Kidding aside, Wade did no wrong in his WTC comments. He simply was saying that the media would treat any Miami slip up next season as a major catastrophe, like what happened at Ground Zero.
I understand how sensitive a subject the WTC disaster is, but dude was not belittling or trying to compare that tragedy to the Heat losing games. He was simply saying the media would…blowing it out of proportion like they did with his statement!
Where is Wade’s apology for misinterpreting his statement? The media (which includes myself) should be careful of what we report and be held to task for it…just like Wade was for what he “supposedly” said!!
My how times have changed! The new Miami Heat threesome dons the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated issue…and LeBron looks like an afterthought!!
The NBA’s biggest celebrity appears dwarfed by Chris Bosh’s size advantage while Dwyane Wade is the center of attention…something I’m sure LeBron James will have to get used to!! (Did you notice LeBron rations on a smile unlike Wade & Bosh??)
Granted, it’s just a cover but the imagery just seems symbolic of the sacrifice that King James is apparently making in pursuit of his first NBA title. It’s just this type of “diminishing aura” that has fueled LeBron’s detractors into believing he has sacrificed his brand and went out like a sucka in his attempt at championship greatness.
I don’t know about all of that but if LeBron James brings a championship (or three) to Miami, all the backlash may subside. NFL legend John Madden said it best: “Winning is the best deodorant!”
Miami threw a big, South Beach-style party for the new Big Three, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh last night at American Airlines Arena…and the three vowed to bring a championship (or three) to Miami. See pics below…
Without rounding out their roster yet, Vegas odds have the Heat at 8-5 to win the ‘chip next spring…that’s better odds than any other team including the Lakers!
I wish the threesome well as they embark on what promises to be an exciting NBA journey going forward…but it takes much more than hoopla and promises to win an NBA championship. We’ll see where this all leads in the coming years, 4sho!!
